Corsets
Many people still require the use of corsetry in the management of long-term back pain and the treatment of hernias. We are able to design custom-made products to suit your exact needs.
Management of Leg Length Discrepancies
Leg length discrepancies are commonly found in the general population. It’s very common to find a shortening in one leg which can ultimately contribute to many musculoskeletal conditions.
This can be managed in a number of different ways. Special heel raises can be designed to fit inside your shoes and external shoe adaptions can also be created for discrepancies above 2cm.
We work with skilled technicians to ensure that we can carry out any shoe alterations that may be required and help find the right solution for you.
Management of Drop Foot
Drop Foot is a common condition that can occur as a result of Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease or Perennial Nerve Injury.
There are many different types of orthoses that can be used to manage these conditions. It’s important to ensure that the correct device is chosen for you because this will enable you to continue living life to the fullest.
Prescription of Specialist Footwear
There are many people that are unable to wear footwear that has been purchased from a High Street shop or catalogue. At Feet First Orthotics, we can design and prescribe custom-made well-fitted footwear to suit your needs.
We believe that the aesthetics of your bespoke footwear is just as important as the comfort they provide and we will therefore work hard to find the solution that best suits your needs.
Management of Knee Arthritis
The use of specialised knee braces in the management of osteoarthritis has improved greatly over the past five years.
